marketing, and underwriting professional rodeo and
concerts.
His World’s Toughest Rodeo series produced events in
28 states and Canada – from New York’s famed Madison
Square Garden to Portland, Oregon. He produced the
historic command performance for President and Mrs.
Ronald Reagan and 11,000 guests. His World’s Biggest
Beach Party earned world-wide publicity. He has
produced PRCA sanctioned events in 28 states and developed the
World’s Toughest Bulls & Broncs Series of MLR (Major
League Rodeo).
In 2001, Gander wrote, Rodeo Event Marketing – The
Business of Getting B.I.T.S. (Buts in the Seats).
This book has become the industry standard.

over the past few years, we decided to develop Rodeo
Marketing 101 to help rodeo committees meet the new
